According to the announcement, although the firm previously focused in the under $3 million market landscape, ExpertPlan’s new Corporate Client division will provide fully bundled retirement plan services to plans in the up to $25-million market. To support the clients, the firm has implemented traditional service elements, including a dedicated participant call center and field enrollment support, the announcement said.
Donny Sheinwald was hired as Senior Vice President of Business Development for the new division. Sheinwald joins ExpertPlan from USI Retirement Services, Inc., where, as Vice President of Operations, he served as general manager of the department responsible for full service recordkeeping and administration of mid- to large-market retirement plans.
Prior to USI, Sheinwald worked at Automatic Data Processing (ADP) as an operations manager and Bankers Trust Company and Ernst & Young as a defined contribution consultant.
