Claymore Securities Tool Helps Advisers with Client Recommendations

Claymore Securities, Inc. has introduced a Web-based tool designed to help financial advisers recommend asset investment strategies to their clients.

The new tool, Claymore Blueprints, simplifies the proposal process into three steps: set an allocation, select a benchmark, and generate a proposal showing a hypothetical blend of investment strategies. The customized client portfolios use quantitative strategies featuring Claymore partners including Zacks Investment Research, Inc., Robeco Investment Management, Inc., and Pension Builders & Consultants, the company said.

According to Claymore, the tool was developed to support adviser use of Unit Investment Trusts (UITs). “Advisers are increasingly turning to UITs to diversify their clients’ portfolios,’ said Scott Larsen, Claymore Managing Director, Unit Investment Trusts, in an announcement.

Financial advisers interested in using Claymore Blueprints can go to www.claymore.com to register for the adviser site and learn more.
