Allstate Planning Tool Considers Whole Retirement Picture

Allstate introduced a Web-based customer survey tool that goes beyond the numbers to consider individual’s hopes, dreams, fears, and readiness for their retirement years.

Through the acquisition of Retirement Bridge, Allstate said it will help customers better envision their individual retirement goals, including where they want to live, what they want to do in retirement, their biggest worries, and their retirement preparation. The reporting tool addresses a wide range of topics, from caregiving to working with a financial representative, according to a release.

The tool provides reports to help customers see the challenges and opportunities ahead of them, including worksheets containing tips and resources based on the customer’s interests during retirement. Allstate said it will also allow the company’s representatives to be more familiar with customers—gaining insight to what truly matters to clients in retirement.
