AIG Retirement Opens 403(b) University

AIG Retirement launched 403(b) University, a vendor-neutral resource with up-to-date information and tools for 403(b) plan administration and compliance assistance.

In addition to employee resources and extensive education sections, 403(b) University features a section for manager solutions with online tutorials, according to an AIG Retirement Services spokeswoman. The section of the Web site dedicated to managing plans includes access to AIG Retirement Manager Compliance Essential.

The site includes links to retirement calculators and articles on issues such as plan sponsor fiduciary responsibility.

Individuals can “attend” 403(b) University by going to www.403buniversity.com.

Barclays ETFs Offer Exposure to Alternative Energy and China

Barclays Global Investors has unveiled four new iShares ETFs to offer exposure to alternative energy and broad exposure to China.

According to a release, the exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and corresponding expense ratios are:

  • iShares S&P Global Clean Energy Index Fund (ticker: ICLN), 0.48%;
  • iShares S&P Global Nuclear Energy Index Fund (ticker: NUCL), 0.48%;
  • iShares S&P Global Timber & Forestry Index Fund (ticker: WOOD), 0.48%;
  • iShares FTSE China (HK Listed) Index Fund (ticker: FCHI), 0.74%.

The iShares FTSE China (HK Listed) Index Fund currently holds approximately 90 large- and mid-cap companies (H shares or Red Chip), Barclays said.
