Milliman Launches AI Solutions Practice

Milliman Inc. launched Milliman AI Solutions, which provides artificial-intelligence-related services to insurance, healthcare and employee benefits organizations.

Building on Milliman’s existing data science capabilities, the practice will offer such services as AI governance, risk assessment and business advisory support.

According to the announcement, Milliman AI Solutions will work in collaboration with Milliman’s existing practice areas to implement and evaluate AI deployments.

Deloitte Expands AI Capabilities With M&A Platform

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd. released an artificial-intelligence-enabled merger-and-acquisition platform designed to assist organizations through deals.

According to Deloitte, the platform has already been used in more than 1,000 client engagements, and it incorporates AI tools to support due diligence, transaction analysis and post-deal integration.

In the announcement, the firm stated that the platform also includes controls intended to help protect confidential client and transaction data.

Betterment Provides AI-Powered Client Onboarding

Betterment LLC is releasing an artificial-intelligence-powered document-reading capability in its platform, Betterment Advisor Solutions.

The tool allows advisers to upload a client’s brokerage statement and automatically populate transfer-request information, reducing manual data entry. Advisers can then review the information and select a portfolio strategy within the same workflow.

Betterment serves more than 1 million customers managing more than $70 billion in assets.

FIS Debuts Cloud-Hosted Recordkeeping Platform

Fidelity National Information Services Inc. launched the latest version of FIS Retirement Platform, its cloud-hosted, scalable platform available to retirement plan providers and third-party administrators.

FIS Retirement Platform offers personalized participant guidance, automated manual workflows and plan health analytics.

The platform also supports SECURE 2.0-related plan features, including automatic enrollment, student loan matching programs and expanded eligibility for long-term part-time employees.
