Social(k) to Open West Coast Branch
Social(k) is scheduled to open an office in San Francisco on May 27.
Reported by Fred Schneyer
A news release said President Rob Thomas decided to open a West Coast office after realizing that a quarter of his clients and 10% of advisers registered with the company were based in the Bay Area.
Social(k) is made up of almost 200 socially responsive mutual funds in addition to more than 4,000 conventional funds to provide investors flexibility in meeting investment goals. More than $60 million in assets have been moved to Social(k) since its launch in 2006, according to the company.
