ISS STOXX Acquires Italian Provider of Data, Sustainability Indexes
ECPI Group SRL, which offers data analysis tool sets for institutional investors, was acquired from Confluence Technologies.

ISS STOXX announced Thursday an agreement to acquire ECPI Group SRL, a Milan-based provider of sustainability indexes and data analysis tool sets for institutional investors, from Confluence Technologies.
ISS STOXX is the parent company of PLANADVISER.
ECPI provides asset owners and asset managers with products ranging from more than 60 sustainability indexes to sustainability portfolio screening. It was founded in 1997 and launched its first indexes in 2001.
Upon completion of the acquisition, STOXX Ltd. will become the benchmark administrator for all of ECPI’s sustainability indices.
“The addition of ECPI and its highly talented team of professionals underscores our continued commitment to delivering industry-leading and differentiated sustainability index offerings to augment and strengthen our clients’ investment processes,” said Axel Lomholt, head of STOXX’s index business, in a statement.
