FIM Partners to Acquire Loomis Sayles Global EM Equities Team

Asset manager FIM Partners has agreed to acquire the global emerging markets equities investment team from Loomis, Sayles & Co. in a transaction that will see the group transition to FIM while maintaining continuity for clients. Portfolio Manager Ashish Chugh who will become chief investment officer of EM equities at FIM.

FIM, founded in 2008 and focused exclusively on emerging and frontier markets, manages approximately $4.3 billion for institutional investors globally. The firms are working together to transfer client accounts and certain funds, including a Luxembourg-domiciled UCITS, subject to regulatory approvals, with closing expected in 2026. During the transition, Natixis Investment Managers will continue to distribute the strategies.

Hamilton Lane Builds Out North America Client Solutions Team

Hamilton Lane made seven senior appointments to its North America client solutions team as it looks to meet growing institutional and private wealth demand for private markets.

Beth Nardi joins as head of U.S. private wealth, leading the firm’s Private Wealth Solutions business and overseeing both evergreen and traditional private markets offerings for high-net-worth investors and their advisers. Tim Jenkins and Russell Simon join as managing directors focused on institutional clients in the Northeast and Western U.S., respectively, while Emily MosqueraJake Passero and Paul Schemel bolster institutional outreach across key regions.

In addition, 
Sizwe Kamra joins with a focus on private wealth business development in the Midwest; all report to Mike Woollatthead of Americas client solutions.

Groom Elevates Health Practice Leader Katie Bjornstad Amin to Executive Principal

Groom Law Group elected Katie Bjornstad Amin, current leader of the firm’s health group and a member of its executive committee, as its newest executive principal, effective January 1, 2026. Amin is a recognized adviser on health and welfare benefit plan design and compliance, counseling clients that range from Fortune 500 employers and major health insurers to pharmacy benefit managers, start-ups and private equity-backed platforms.

Amin is known for her work on both conventional and innovative health and welfare offerings, often in high-stakes, multi-million-dollar matters, and previously served at the Internal Revenue Service, bringing deep regulatory insight to her practice. In her new role, she will help guide firm strategy while continuing to advise plan sponsors and other market participants on complex health and benefits issues.

Sikich Names Marc Moss Chief Legal Officer

Marc Moss

Accounting and professional services firm Sikich appointed Marc Moss its chief legal officer as the firm continues to expand. Based in Chicago, Moss brings more than 25 years of legal leadership experience across Fortune 500 and multi-billion-dollar private companies. His background spans corporate governance, M&A, regulatory compliance, risk management and international transactions.

Moss previously held senior legal roles at Victra, Wells Fargo, United Technologies’ Carrier business, Ingersoll Rand and Baker & Daniels. In the new role, Moss will oversee Sikich’s legal function, support the firm’s acquisition strategy and help strengthen enterprise risk and compliance programs.
