According to a press release, Villegas will be part of a team responsible for marketing Payden & Rygel’s various retirement solutions, which include Paydenfunds, Payden/Wilshire Target Date funds, and the Payden/Kravitz Cash Balance Plan Fund, to advisers and third-party administrators.
He joins Payden from Charles Schwab, where he was director, Schwab Retirement Advisor Services. Earlier in his career, Villegas was vice president, Trading and Accounting, ADP Benefit Services.
Payden & Rygel said its goal is to grow the sales team to eight team members focusing on the marketing of the Payden solutions. This growth will take place over the next two years.
