Zocks Appoints Matt Halloran as ‘Chief Evangelist’ to Lead AI Education

Zocks Communications Inc., an artificial intelligence platform for financial advisers, appointed Matt Halloran to the newly created role of “chief evangelist.”

Bringing more than 25 years of experience working with advisers, Halloran will lead efforts to educate advisers about AI adoption. He will develop content and engagement programs to help advisers better understand how to use AI to be more efficient and effective.

“My job is simple: show how AI solves real problems advisers deal with every day and help them use it without losing the human connection,” Halloran said in a statement.

 

Callodine Group Hires Hunter Allen as Head of Intermediary Distribution

Callodine Group LLC, a Boston-based asset management platform, hired Hunter Allen as head of intermediary distribution for a subsidiary, Manning & Napier Advisors.

Allen will focus on expanding the firm’s reach within the registered investment advisory, multi-family office, independent broker/dealer and wirehouse channels.

Prior to joining Callodine, Allen held senior sales executive positions at a variety of financial services and technology firms, including StratCap, Adobe, Salesforce.com, KBS Capital and AXA Equitable.

Callodine Group is a platform with more than $20 billion in assets under management across affiliated advisers.

Toews Asset Management Appoints New Regional VP

Toews Asset Management, a boutique investment adviser with $1 billion in assets under management and administration, announced the appointment of Christopher Collins to regional vice president for the eastern U.S.

Collins will expand and support partnerships with registered investment advisers, financial advisers, family offices and institutions in service. Collins’ appointment is part of Toews’ ongoing efforts to expand its presence in key markets.

Collins served as a senior regional consultant for Toews for two years and previously held consulting roles at Virtus Investment Partners and Allianz Global Investors. He brings more than 13 years of industry experience supporting advisers across the independent and RIA channels.

NFP Names SVP of Complex Property

Melissa Sage

NFP Corp., an Aon company, named Melissa Sage as senior vice president and complex property leader of its Atlantic region. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Sage will report to Tim Ryan, senior vice president of complex risk.

Sage has more than two decades of experience in carrier and broker operations across the insurance industry.

Prior to joining NFP, she served as vice president of property placement and analytics at USI Insurance Services, overseeing data-driven solutions for property risk management. She also held roles at Sentry, Liberty Mutual and Sompo International.
