RightCapital Inc., a financial planning software company, introduced Smart Import, a feature that uses artificial intelligence to read data from documents uploaded into its platform, such as meeting transcripts, investment statements and client emails, and to translate that information into financial plan inputs.

The system then identifies key income, savings, expenses, goals, net worth details and investment account holdings information, which an adviser can review and approve before uploading into a new or existing financial plan.

RightCapital’s internal testing indicated significant time savings, with many test cases showing time savings of 70% or greater when compared to manually entering data.

Libretto Introduces AI-Automated Client Onboarding, AI Assistant

The wealth advice platform Libretto debuted artificial intelligence features designed to streamline planning, asset allocation and risk management. The features include Mert, an AI assistant, and an AI-automated data entry tool for automated client onboarding and creation of strategies.

The AI feature can scan user data and extract information such as family details, goals, income, account balances and other planning data. The platform produces a draft strategy modeled to the client’s unique situation. Advisers can review the strategy and focus on key levers that drive planning outcomes, such as evaluating financial sufficiency, determining risk protection and formulating asset allocation recommendations.

The AI tool can also write personalized client letters and proposals.

Mert draws from Libretto’s knowledge base of more than 150 articles and helps advisers review, refine and communicate each client’s strategy, while considering retirement preparedness and portfolio performance.
