The Standard Offers Managed Accounts to 403(b)s
<p>Standard Retirement Services, a subsidiary of StanCorp Financial Group,
Inc., will begin offering its proprietary managed account service to
403(b) plans next month, the company announced.</p>

The service, known as Mainspring Manage, allows an investment adviser to select the core fund lineup for a client’s managed portfolios, the company said.
The service is a formal, goal-based retirement savings and investment plan developed, implemented, and managed by The Standard. Previously, Mainspring Managed was offered only to participants in The Standard’s 401(k) plans.
