Russell Bulks Up Outsourcing Team
Peter Corippo, a former pension chief investment officer, has joined Russell Investments as a senior strategist.

Corippo was a CIO for more than 20 years with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), where he was responsible for managing approximately $20 billion in defined benefit, defined contribution, VEBA, NDT and Rabbi Trust plan assets. He will be based in Seattle and report to Michael Thomas, CIO, Americas Institutional.
Corippo will become a key member of the Russell team assigned to customized outsourcing relationships. His focus will be on overall investment strategy, and he will act as a liaison between the client and the return-seeking, liability-hedging and implementation portfolio managers at Russell.
