One-third of Baby Boomers are open to relocating to find the lifestyle they desire for retirement. According to a survey conducted for the Consumer Federation of the Southeast, 96% of respondents said top-quality health care services are “very” or “somewhat” important to them when considering a relocation destination. Affordable housing ranks second, with nearly 92% calling that a “very” or “somewhat” important criterion.

New research shows a majority of ­­small-­busi­­­ness owners are concerned about retirement, however one-third of women and one-quarter of men surveyed have not estimated how much they will need when the time comes. The survey, conducted by The American College, raises questions about the quality of retirement preparation performed by the majority of ­small-business owners.

3/4 of Americans use phones in bathrooms
Three-fourths of Americans with mobile phones report they use their phones in the bathroom, according to a study by marketing agency 11mark. The “IT in the Toilet” survey of 1,000 Americans­ found approximately one-quarter report they do not go into the bathroom without their phone. No more men than women are going to the bathroom alone, but men are more likely to work from there.
