- Just a little less than half of working men (49%) are enrolled in their company’s retirement plan, compared with 43% of working women, according to research from Wells Fargo, and more men (43%) than women (39%) contribute 10% or more of their salaries.
- Popular DC Features: An overwhelming majority (90%) of plan
participants are happy that their defined contribution (DC) plan automatically
deducts their contribution from their paycheck; 90% like to control their
investment choices; 90% enjoy how their defined contribution plan inspires them
to plan for their future; and 86% are partial to the income tax deductions.
