Independent Financial Partners (IFP), a registered investment adviser that will soon also operate as a broker/dealer, announced a new strategic relationship with AdvisorEngine, a financial experience company that provides a digital wealth management platform for financial advisers and their clients.

In addition to adding the AdvisorEngine platform, this relationship will make WisdomTree model portfolios accessible for IFP advisers and their clients.

“This new relationship with AdvisorEngine and WisdomTree gives our advisors a scalable way to serve clients across wealth levels and generations,” suggests IFP CIO Aaron Gliman. “Each IFP adviser now has the ability to deliver a modern client experience using his or her own branding, models and investment philosophies.”

Available features on the digital wealth platform include proposal generation, paperless client onboarding, custom-branded client portals, goals-based financial planning tools, portfolio rebalancing tools, document management, compliance tools and fee billing. According to the firms, IFP advisers that custody with BNY Mellon’s Pershing can access the new platform’s functionality without the need to manually input data or navigate between the AdvisorEngine and Pershing platforms.

Under this arrangement, WisdomTree model portfolios will be available to IFP advisers through the AdvisorEngine platform. With risk profiles ranging from conservative to aggressive, the model portfolios incorporate WisdomTree’s Modern Alpha approach and seek to combine the outperformance potential of active management with the cost benefits of the ETF structure.
