EBS Renamed Ascende

announced Thursday it is changing its corporate identity and renaming the
company Ascende.</p>

Since its founding in 1995 as a health and welfare brokerage and consulting firm, EBS has become a comprehensive business consulting firm offering a broad range of human capital services and solutions—including retirement plans and investments, health and welfare, and HR and benefits administration.
“Our new name and brand better describe our broader capabilities and reflect our vision to be the premier human capital consulting firm,” said Ascende President and Chief Executive Jim Watt. As an acronym, Watt added, “Ascende also mirrors the values that have been the foundation of our success: Accountability, Service, Collaboration, Excellence, Nimbleness, Drive and Enthusiasm.”
