CAPTRUST Acquires Investment Advisory Firm

CAPTRUST, an independent retirement plan advisory firms, has acquired Cambridge Financial Services, an institutional investment advisory firm in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Ernest Liebre, Cambridge’s founder and managing director, has more than four decades of experience in financial services. He joins CAPTRUST as senior vice president and financial adviser, operating from CAPTRUST’s new Greenwich office. Liebre is responsible for providing retirement plan advisory services to corporate fiduciaries. 

Liebre holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Iona College and a master’s of business administration in finance from the University of Chicago.

CAPTRUST Financial Advisors is an independent investment research and fee-based advisory firm that provides retirement plan and investment advisory services to retirement plan fiduciaries, executives and high-net-worth individuals.

Cambridge Financial Services provides investment advisory services to institutional qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, foundations, endowments, insurance captives and cash management programs.
