Altruist Adds Financial Planning to Hazel

Altruist has added an artificial intelligence-powered financial planning agent within Hazel, the company’s AI platform for wealth managers.

The company stated that addition will enhance financial plans across retirement planning, investment optimization, cash flow analysis, estate planning, tax strategy and insurance and risk.

Hazel and the new agent are available to firms regardless of whether they custody assets with Altruist.

The agent provides scenario modeling with clients to explore how different savings, investment and spending strategies can impact their plan.

Hazel builds financial plans using data it collects from financial documents, as well as details it automatically captures from client meetings and communications, notes and other connected data sources.

Like all Hazel features, the financial planning agent is governed by zero data retention agreements with Hazel’s AI model providers. That means they are prohibited from retaining any data from Altruist or its customers. Operating on the same secure infrastructure as Altruist, Hazel data is never used to train AI models or sold to third-party providers.

This agent is the second installment in a series of expanded planning solutions anticipated for the platform and follows Vanguard’s recent acquisition of Altruist.

Affiliated Advisors Launches Initiative With FINNY

Affiliated Advisors has launched a growth initiative for its financial advisers, powered by FINNY, an AI marketing company. The initiative gives advisers in the Affiliated Advisors network access to FINNYs technology at a discounted rate, along with dedicated help towards advisers’ marketing efforts.

FINNY helps advisers build and execute targeted marketing campaigns using artificial intelligence.

Since launching the initiative, participating network advisers have reported early signs of traction, including increased appointment activity and stronger brand recognition in their local markets. Affiliated Advisors plans to continue expanding the cohort and sharing insights from the program as more advisers adopt the platform.

Archive Intel Partners With Zocks for AI Reviews

Archive Intel announced an integration with Zocks, an AI platform for financial service companies. Through the integration, data from Zocks automatically flows into Archive Intel, which is expected to review AI-generated transcripts and notes, flag potentially non-compliant language and archive records for streamlined, audit-ready access.

Archive Intel clients can activate the Zocks integration through the Archive Intel platform for $12 per user per month. Once connected, the platforms automatically sync to capture, review and archive Zocks data.

According to the announcement, the partnership is an addition to the firm’s expanding ecosystem of integrations designed to modernize compliance.

Archive Intel is an AI purpose-built compliance platform for SEC and FINRA regulated firms, bringing client communications archiving and supervision, AI marketing review, compliance oversight, and trade monitoring into one system.
