Midwest Financial Group becomes Osaic affiliate; Socha partners with Savant Wealth Management; Sequoia Financial acquires BSW Wealth Partners; and more.

Midwest Financial Group Joins Osaic Network

Midwest Financial Group, a financial planning, wealth management and employee benefits firm based in Madison, Wisconsin, joined the network of Osaic Inc. The firm, which oversees $450 million in assets under advisement, was previously affiliated with the Commonwealth Financial Network.

Matt Cuplin, MFG’s CEO and president, and Brandon Masbruch, CIO and vice president, have led the firm for nearly 10 years. Their team includes five advisers and financial planners, along with support staff and dedicated Medicare, tax and employee benefits teams.

Osaic, a portfolio company of Reverence Capital Partners, supports nearly 10,000 financial professionals.

Maridea Wealth Management Acquires Pultro Financial Management

Maridea Wealth Management acquired Pultro Financial Management, a New Britain, Pennsylvania-based wealth management practice that manages approximately $217 million in client assets.

PFM has a “behavioral finance approach to retirement planning,” according to the acquisition announcement. It was founded by Michael Pultro, a master registered financial consultant and behavioral financial adviser. His nephew, Brian Pultro, has served as a financial adviser for the past 11 years and recently retired from the U.S. Navy as a commander after 20 years of service. They will join Maridea as senior investment advisers.

Maridea Wealth Management has approximately $1.8 billion in assets under management.

Savant Wealth Management Buys Socha Financial Group

Savant Wealth Management, a registered investment adviser, acquired Socha Financial Group LLC, an RIA based in Corning, New York with approximately $542 million in assets under management.

Socha has a team of eight led by Managing Partners Michelle Socha Vang and Jolie McCarthy. It offers comprehensive financial planning, including retirement planning, investment management, tax planning and preparation and estate planning.

Savant did not disclose financial terms of the deal, which closed on August 31. As of June 30, Savant had approximately $56.5 billion in assets under management and $1.5 billion in assets under advisement.

Sequoia Financial Acquires BSW Wealth Partners

Sequoia Financial Group LLC acquired BSW Wealth Partners, a Colorado-based independent wealth management firm that had approximately $2.3 billion in assets under management as of June 30.

Founded in 1992, BSW provides financial planning and customized wealth management to a national client base from offices in Denver and Boulder, Colorado. It will operate under the Sequoia Financial brand.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Sequoia Financial supports approximately 11,000 client households from 43 offices and had $34.9 billion in assets under management as of June 30.

LPL Affiliate ClearHaven Wealth Management Launches

Financial Advisers Ryan Lewis, Dan Hocking and Steve Braatz joined Linsco by LPL Financial LLC to launch ClearHaven Wealth Management. The team reported serving approximately $395 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets as of year-end 2025.

Lewis joined LPL from Morgan Stanley and Hocking and Braatz came from RBC Wealth Management.

Based in Minnesota, ClearHaven Wealth Management serves high-net-worth individuals and families with investment management, wealth preservation and long-term financial planning.

LPL Financial Holdings Inc. manages approximately $2.6 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets on behalf of about 8 million U.S. consumers.

Wealth Enhancement Buys Hybrid RIA Dickerson Jackson & Associates

Wealth Enhancement Group, a wealth management firm, acquired Dickerson Jackson & Associates, a hybrid registered investment adviser in Glen Allen, Virginia. The RIA is led by Managing Partners Jeff Dickerson and Todd Jackson and had approximately $376 million in client assets as of August 18.

Founded in 2004, Dickerson Jackson & Associates’ services include retirement planning, financial planning, investment management, estate and trust planning, business planning, risk management, fixed income services and charitable giving strategies.

The acquisition closed on August 31.

Wealth Enhancement had $160.1 billion in client assets, including $5.5 billion in brokerage assets, as of July 31.

Higginbotham Acquires Two West Capital Advisors

Higginbotham Insurance & Financial Services acquired Two West Capital Advisors LLC, a Kansas City-based retirement plan consulting and wealth management firm.

Two West, which was founded in 2010 and is led by CEO Marko Ungashick, specializes in fiduciary retirement plan consulting, including 401(k) and 403(b) plans.

Two West will remain based in Kansas City, Kansas and intends to keep its current staff and clients, and its employees will become employee-owners in the larger organization.
