Lido Advisors Names Dan Marquis as CFO

Wealth advisory firm Lido Advisors LLC named Dan Marquis as chief financial officer.
Marquis brings two decades of financial leadership experience, with expertise in financial planning and analysis, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and long-range strategic planning. As CFO, he will oversee the firm’s financial operations and planning and will partner with senior leadership on capital strategy.
As of June 30, Lido Advisors managed more than $42.5 billion in regulatory assets.
IRALogix Hires Lisa Matthews as VP of Fraud and Risk

IRALogix hired Lisa Matthews as vice president of fraud and risk. Based in the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina office, Matthews reports to Tom Albergo, chief operations officer.
Matthews will lead IRALogix’s enterprise fraud prevention, cybersecurity risk and artificial intelligence governance initiatives. She brings expertise in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, institutional risk management and regulatory compliance.
Matthews most recently worked as senior director of cybersecurity compliance at Ally Financial, where she led the company’s enterprise AI regulatory readiness strategy and established its first insider threat governance council. Before Ally, Matthews held senior leadership positions at Wells Fargo and Bank of America, leading global insider threat investigation and helping to develop behavioral analytics models for insider risk detection.
Cerity Partners Hires Will Peng as Chief Innovation Officer
Wealth management firm Cerity Partners LLC hired Will Peng as its first chief innovation officer. Peng will focus on innovating Cerity’s service model and applying AI to build scalable workflows and capabilities.
Peng has a background as an entrepreneur, executive and product leader. Most recently, he was the founder and CEO of fintech company Northstar, which was acquired last year by Nayya. Before Northstar, he was a partner in early-stage venture capital firm Red Swan. Peng also advises technology executives and investors in technology companies.
Prairie Wealth Advisors Appoints Mike Finnegan as CIO

Prairie Wealth Advisors Inc., a registered investment adviser, announced the appointment of Mike Finnegan as chief investment officer. Finnegan will be based in Omaha, Nebraska.
As CIO, Finnegan will oversee Prairie’s investment philosophy, portfolio strategy, manager research and programs for alternatives, due diligence and risk management.
A 30-year industry veteran, Finnegan previously held senior leadership roles at ManchesterStory Fund Management, Guggenheim Investment Management and Principal Financial Group.
IRI Announces 2 Board Members

The Insured Retirement Institute announced the election of two members to its board of directors: Alison Reed, executive vice president and head of distribution at Jackson National Life Distributors LLC, and Dan Moorman, managing director and head of annuities, insurance, client and financial adviser-directed advisory programs in the investment products group at Wells Fargo & Co.
“[Reed and Moorman] are accomplished leaders who bring deep industry knowledge and valuable experience to the board, said Wayne Chopus, the IRI’s president and CEO, in a statement. “I look forward to working with them as we continue advancing IRI’s mission and helping ensure that more Americans achieve a secure and dignified retirement.”
Anthony Provenzano Joins Wagner Law Group
The Wagner Law Group hired Anthony Provenzano as a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
Provenzano’s practice focuses on tax, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and other laws impacting executive compensation and employee benefits. He advises clients on rules regarding nonqualified, equity and tax-qualified arrangements, as well as associated employment tax and deduction issues.
In addition, Provenzano focuses on transactions and controversy matters involving examinations and disputes with the Department of Labor, Internal Revenue Service and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.
July Business Services Makes 2 Senior Leadership Appointments
Retirement plan administration and recordkeeping technology provider July Business Services LLC announced two senior leadership appointments. Blake Willis was promoted to president of retirement services from chief operating officer of retirement services, and Josh Bulgin joined the company as chief commercial officer, a newly created role.
As president, Willis will oversee July’s core plan operations, ERISA and technical standards and adviser relationships.
In the chief commercial officer role, Bulgin will lead July’s growth, transformation and commercial strategy, with responsibility for marketing, sales and the firm’s go-to-market approach. He joins July from Concentrix, where he served as senior vice president of customer experience technology. Earlier in his career, Bulgin held senior leadership roles at Asurion LLC, Voltati Corp. (formerly Motricity), and Zoove Corp.
