Blackstone Announces Leadership Appointments in Private Wealth Division

Blackstone Inc. made two senior appointments to its private wealth leadership team. Rashmi Madan, a 15-year veteran of the firm, was promoted to the newly created post of global head of portfolio solutions for private wealth. She will oversee the worldwide scaling of Blackstone’s multi-strategy investment solutions for individual investors.

Simona Maellare, formerly global co-head of the alternative capital group at UBS, joins Blackstone as head of EMEA for private wealth. Maellare brings more than three decades of experience in alternative asset management and will lead the firm’s expansion across Europe and the Middle East.

The appointments are designed to accelerate growth in Blackstone’s private wealth business, which now manages more than $300 billion globally, according to the company.

Lenox Advisors Announces Partner Promotions

Lenox Advisors Inc., a wealth and insurance advisory firm and an affiliate of NFP, an Aon company, announced the promotions of Russell Rolnick, Matthew Sendach and Zachary Kriftcher to partner.

Rolnick joined Lenox Advisors nearly 20 years ago and serves high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, with a focus on estate planning, retirement strategies, risk management, wealth management and employee benefits consulting.

Sendach has been at Lenox Advisors since 2009, developing expertise across wealth management, insurance, estate planning and employee benefits strategies for both individual and corporate clients.

Kriftcher joined Lenox Advisors in 2013 and most recently served as managing director. He focuses on estate, insurance and investment management strategies for individual clients, as well as employee benefits and executive carve-out programs for corporate clients.

Northern Trust Wealth Management Appoints Global Head of Sales

David Albright

Northern Trust Wealth Management named David Albright as global head of sales. Albright will lead client development strategy, sales execution and strategic partnerships, reporting to Wealth Management President Jason Tyler.

Albright steps into the position during a period of sustained growth for Northern Trust Wealth Management, as the business expands within key segments and deepens its investment and advisory capabilities. In the announcement, Tyler highlighted Albright’s institutional knowledge and execution-focused mindset as key assets for the firm’s continued momentum.

Previously, Albright led client development for global family and private investment offices and later co-led business activity in the Eastern U.S.
