Human Interest Announces Price Match Guarantee
The pledge to ‘match or beat any verified offer’ from a competing provider follows a previously announced customer service guarantee.
Human Interest Inc., a 401(k) and 403(b) plan provider, launched Tuesday a “price match guarantee,” offering what it calls an industry-first pledge to match or beat any verified offer from a competing retirement plan provider.
Qualifying costs include annual administration fees, per-participant fees, transaction fees, asset-based fees and annual large plan audit fees.
“The retirement industry has been plagued by hidden or opaque fees and complex pricing structures that make it nearly impossible for businesses to know if they are truly getting a fair deal,” said Rakesh Mahajan, Human Interest’s chief revenue officer, in a statement. “We are cutting through that complexity.”
The company earned a J.D. Power certification in December 2025 for “outstanding customer service phone support.” According to the announcement, Human Interest passed an evaluation that included a customer survey and an assessment of operational performance against top industry benchmarks.
Last August, Human Interest expanded its customer experience guarantee, offering customer credit for missed benchmarks. It then debuted an automated auditing process for midsize businesses’ 401(k) plans in September and an investment lineup that included collective investment trusts for small and midsize businesses in October.
