Jones will be based in St. Louis, where his focus will be on clients in health care, and the nonprofit and employee benefits industries. He will also assist in the due diligence on alternative investments and will help develop the internal mutual fund platform and investment solutions.
Jones has 30 years experience in investment consulting. For more than 15 years, he was a portfolio manager at a large bank and trust company in St. Louis. He was a senior wealth adviser with CLA Wealth Advisors from 2006 to 2009, then went to Hammond Associates as an institutional investment consultant serving large endowment and pension clients. Hammond was later acquired by Mercer, the largest investment consulting firm in the world.
Jones is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is the immediate past president of the CFA Society of St. Louis. He also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Jones holds a master’s in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
