CAPTRUST’s Kline Lands at New York Life

William R. Kline has left CAPTRUST Financial Advisors and joined New York Life Retirement Plan Services as Vice President of sales for the southeastern United States.

The Raleigh, North Carolina-based Kline will be responsible for expanding New York Life’s 401(k) and defined benefit market segments throughout the region. He will report to Mark Strazzeri, Managing Director and Head of Sales, according to a news release.

Kline spent the last three years as Managing Director of CAPTRUST’s retirement plan advisory group in Raleigh.

Earlier in his career, Kline served as a national sales manager for Wachovia Corporation as well as in institutional equity sales for J.C. Bradford & Co. in Nashville.
