Boston Financial Names Metcalfe as Retirement Services Head

Boston Financial Data Services, Inc., a Quincy, Massachusetts-based financial services outsourcing provider, has tapped Jude Metcalfe as senior vice president and head of Retirement Services.

Metcalfe will be responsible for the growth, strategic direction, and product and service structuring of the Retirement Services Division, according to a Boston Financial news release.

“The institutional retirement marketplace is an integral part of our core growth strategy,” said Terry Metzger, executive vice president and COO of Boston Financial, in the news release.

Metcalfe joins Boston Financial from Wealth Management Systems, Inc. (WMSI) where he served as CEO (See Metcalfe Resigns as WMSI CEO). Prior to joining WMSI, Metcalfe held various executive level positions at Mellon HR Solutions, Fidelity Investments, Kwasha Lipton, Prudential Securities, and The Bank of New York.

Fiserv ISS Unveils Two Collective Investment Funds

Fiserv Investment Support Services is now offering collective investment funds (CIFs) as an option for retirement plans.

According to a press release, Emerald Funds will be available to plan sponsors through the Fiserv Trust custody platform and are traded through the National Clearing Corporation.

The Emerald Strategic Allocation Fixed Income Fund seeks returns through investment-grade fixed-income securities and the Emerald Large Cap Conservative Growth Fund invests in well capitalized companies with a history of strong earnings growth.

Fiserv Trust Company provides investment management, trust, and custody services for the Emerald Funds and Greenwood Capital acts as sub-advisor. Fiserv calculates and reports a daily unit value for each of the Emerald Funds.
