Sheridan to Manage NJ Branch for Raymond James

Raymond James & Associates recently recruited Tim Sheridan to be the firm’s New Jersey complex manager based in the Red Bank office.

The company said Sheridan will oversee offices in Princeton, Red Bank, and Morristown, New Jersey. 

Sheridan joined Raymond James from UBS where, for the past three years, he was the branch manager in Wall, New Jersey. From 1997 to 2005, he worked for Dean Witter and then Morgan Stanley when it acquired Dean Witter, where he was the southern New Jersey complex manager.

“Tim’s experience in developing branches and recruiting successful financial advisers is well documented,” said Tom Walrond, Atlantic Division complex manager for Raymond James & Associates, in a press release.

Dupre Tapped for Citizens Brokerage Unit

Citizens Financial Group (CFG) announced the appointment of Dawn Dupre as President of its full-service brokerage and investment adviser unit, CCO Investment Services Corp.

In her role, Dupre oversees the delivery of Citizens’ investment products and financial planning services to companies, not-for-profits, families and customers.

The company said that, splitting her time between Boston and Philadelphia, Dupre will play a key role in growing the business within CFG’s 12-state footprint, where Citizens is planning to hire an additional 40 Financial Consultants to serve the needs of customers in the next year. She reports to Mike Millard, CEO and Director of Wealth Management.

Prior to joining Citizens, Dupre was a territory sales director at PNC in Philadelphia, where she was in charge of sales management, investment distribution and compliance. During her 17-year career in the financial services industry, she also spent time at Merrill Lynch, where she was responsible for sales, recruiting and financial adviser development.
