RFG Advisory Acquires Sweet Life Financial Planning

RFG Advisory LLC acquired an Indiana-based advisory team, Sweet Life Financial Planning, from Farther Financial Advisor LLC.

The team includes Brian LaHue, founder and financial adviser; Hannah Harbeson, financial planning assistant; Sarah Cole, planning and operations associate; and Marcee LaHue, client experience liaison.

With the inclusion of Sweet Life Financial, RFG Advisory surpassed $1.5 billion in recruited client assets during the first half of 2026.

LPL Financial Taps 2 New Advisers

Financial Advisers John Bizjack and Brian Bizjack joined LPL Financial LLC’s broker/dealer and registered investment adviser platform, aligned with Ascendus Financial Advisors, an existing firm supporting LPL-affiliated advisors.

The adviser duo reported serving $145 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets, as of the end of 2025. They join LPL from Morgan Stanley.

Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, John and Brian Bizjack, who are brothers, operate a family-owned practice with a client base consisting of families and individuals nearing or in retirement.

LPL Financial Holdings Inc. supports more than 32,000 financial advisers and services approximately $2.3 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets.

OneDigital Adds Rosenthal Wealth Management Group

OneDigital Investment Advisors LLC, a business unit of OneDigital, added Rosenthal Wealth Management Group, an independent wealth management and financial planning firm. Rosenthal had $1.8 billion in assets under management as of July 2.

Rosenthal’s clients will keep working with the same advisers and will gain access to OneDigital’s platform. 

OneDigital currently serves more than 100,000 employers and had $155 billion in assets under advisement as of March 31.

The Finway Group Teams Up With Strongpoint Partners

Strongpoint Partners Inc., a retirement services platform, announced a partnership with the Finway Group, based in Des Moines, Iowa.

Led by Steve Finnegan, Finway is a national retirement plan services firm, with a presence across 43 states with more than 49 pooled employer plans.

As part of Strongpoint, Finnegan will continue leading the organization as president, alongside Vice President of Operations Keith Lowery and the broader Finway team.

Ameriprise Financial Adds $470M Advisory Team

Sher Jeshiva Group, a financial advisory practice, joined the ranch channel of Ameriprise Financial Inc. from Wells Fargo Clearing Services LLC, with $470 million in client assets. The practice, located in Melville, New York, and Naples, Florida, is led by Financial Advisers Glen Sher and Michael Jeshiva and includes Financial Adviser Philip Basile and Client Service Associate Kathryn Acer-Richard.

Sher Jeshiva Group is supported locally by Ameriprise Branch Manager Aaron Wolson, Ameriprise Complex Director Kevin Peters and Ameriprise Regional Vice President Todd Hubley.
