Syntax Data, PM Insights Form Data Partnership to Analyze Private Markets
Syntax Data and PM Insights announced a data partnership aimed at giving registered investment advisers and asset managers institutional-grade visibility into venture-backed private companies.
Syntax’s Functional Information System, which classifies more than 12,500 public companies, was paired with PM Insights’ private-company dataset and secondary-market valuation activity to create a unified framework for benchmarking, valuation intelligence and competitive analysis across both public and private markets.
Test users of the platform were said to have reduced mispricing risk; validated valuations; and designed more efficient public-private allocation strategies, according to the announcement.
WealthFeed, Proofpoint Launch Prospecting Workflow
WealthFeed announced a new collaboration with Proofpoint Inc. that brings the compliance giant’s Patrol API into the adviser-focused, artificial intelligence-powered prospecting platform. The integration offers real-time communication supervision, automated review workflows and scalable outreach tools to help firms meet rising regulatory expectations while accelerating growth.
The partnership extends enterprise-grade oversight—traditionally used by large institutions—to advisory firms of all sizes, enabling compliant communication across email and social platforms. Executives from both firms said the enhanced integration will let advisers prospect confidently while maintaining consistency with firm-level policies and brand standards.
Betterment Debuts Commission-Free Investing for Retail Clients
Betterment LLC expanded its platform with the launch of self-directed investing, giving retail customers the ability to trade thousands of stocks and exchange-traded funds without paying commission. The investing includes a “Tax Impact Preview” tool that shows customers the projected tax consequences of trades.
The firm noted that more than three-quarters of its users currently hold self-directed investments elsewhere, and upcoming customization options like direct indexing are expected in 2026.
Asset-Map, eMoney Announce Integration
Asset-Map and eMoney Advisor LLC announced a new integration that allows advisers to import household financial data directly into Asset-Map’s visual planning environment from eMoney.
According to the announcement, this creates an “intuitive representation” of a client’s financial picture, as well as client-ready reports. The integration adds to Asset-Map’s existing partnerships for tax planning and visual solutions across major enterprises.
