Yesterday, the Dow was up 39.54 points (0.11%) at 34,411.69, the Nasdaq increased 18.72 points (0.14%) to 13,332.36, and the S&P 500 was virtually unchanged at 4,391.69. The Russell 2000 lost 14.85 points (0.74%) to finish at 1,990.13, and the Wilshire 5000 closed 94.16 points (0.21%) lower at 44,086.69.

The prices of the 10-year Treasury note and the 30-year Treasury bond were each down 2/32, increasing their yields to 2.849% and 2.931%, respectively.
