Wednesday, the Dow decreased 461.68 points (1.34%) to 34,022.04, the Nasdaq lost 283.64 points (1.83%) to finish at 15,254.05, and the S&P 500 was down 53.96 points (1.18%) at 4,513.04. The Russell 2000 fell 51.49 points (2.34%) to 2,147.42, and the Wilshire 5000 closed 760.50 points (1.62%) lower at 46,175.58.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note was up 4/32, decreasing its yield to 1.411%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 32/32, bringing its yield down to 1.755%.
