Wednesday, the Dow won 548.75 points (1.88%) to end trading at 29,683.74, the Nasdaq gained 222.13 points (2.05%) to reach 11,051.636 and the S&P 500 spiked 71.75 (1.97%) to close at 3,719.04. The Russell 2000 extended 52.73 points (3.17%) to close at 1,715.24 and the Wilshire 5000 increased 810.42 points (2.23%) to close at 37,165.21.

 

The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 1 7/32 bringing the yield down to 3.731%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 2 3/32 bringing the yield down to 3.687%.
