Monday, the Dow increased 417.06 points (1.34%) to finish trading at 31,499.62, the Nasdaq gained 92.90 points (0.86%) to close at 10,952.61 and the S&P 500 increased 44.59 points (1.19%) to close at 3,797.34. The Russell 2000 gained 6.16 points (0.35%) to close at 1,748.40 and the Wilshire 5000 increased 386.08 points (1.03%) to end trading at 37,805.51.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell 2/32 bringing the yield up to 4.250%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 6/32 bringing the yield up to 4.389%.
