Thursday, the Dow plummeted 1,063.09 points (3.12%) to 32,997.97, the Nasdaq was down 647.17 points (4.99%) to close at 12,317.69, and the S&P 500 decreased 153.30 points (3.57%) to 4,146.87. The Russell 2000 fell 78.78 points (4.04%) to 1,871.15, and the Wilshire 5000 was down 1,626.90 points (3.78%) to 41,423.66.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 30/32 raising its yield to 3.044%. The price of the 30-year Treasury note fell 1 6/32 bringing up its yield to 3.131%.
