Tuesday, the Dow gained 526.82 points (2.04%) to finish at 26,289.98, the NASDAQ closed 169.84 points (1.75%) higher at 9,895.87, and the S&P 500 increased 58.15 points (1.90%) to 3,124.74. The Russell 2000 was up 32.65 points (2.30%) at 1,452.26, and the Wilshire 5000 climbed 583.18 points (1.86%) to 31,872.01. The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 23/32, bringing its yield up to 0.745%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond fell 1 6/32, increasing its yield to 1.530%.
