Thursday, the Dow gained 196.92 points (0.65%) to finish at 30,606.48, the NASDAQ was up 18.28 points (0.14%) at 12,888.28, and the S&P 500 closed 24.03 points (0.64%) higher at 3,756.07. The Russell 2000 fell 29.09 points (1.45%) to 1,974.86, and the Wilshire 5000 increased 155.39 points (0.40%) to 39,456.63.   The price of the 10-year Treasury note was up 1/32, decreasing its yield to 0.919%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 2/32, bringing its yield down to 1.649%.   For the week ending December 31, the Dow finished 1.35% higher, the NASDAQ was up 0.65%, and the S&P 500 gained 1.43%. The Russell 2000 fell 1.45%, and the Wilshire 5000 increased 0.72%.
