Yesterday, the Dow fell 453.93 points (1.57%) to 28,535.80, the NASDAQ shed 175.60 points (1.89%) to finish at 9,139.31, and the S&P 500 closed 51.84 points (1.57%) lower at 3,243.63. The Russell 2000 dropped 40.87 points (2.43%) to 1,644.14, and the Wilshire 5000 plunged 510.78 points (1.52%) to 33,028.77. The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 30/32, bringing its yield down to 1.599%. The price of the 30-year Treasury note climbed 1 31/32, decreasing its yield to 2.051%.
