Woodbury B/D Appoints SVP of Distribution

Firm veteran Scott Carlson was promoted to lead sales and recruiting for Woodbury Financial Services, a subsidiary of The Hartford Financial Services Group, the company said.

As the head of sales organization and senior vice president of distribution, Carlson will lead sales and recruiting efforts through all distribution channels. Carlson has been at Woodbury for 16 years, according to a release from the independent broker/dealer.

“Woodbury is in a position to capitalize on unprecedented long-term growth opportunities, and I am confident that Scott and his leadership team will remain committed to our core strategy while positioning the firm to take full advantage of these growth opportunities,’ said Walter White, president of Woodbury, in the release.
