WMSI Releases Small Plan Comparison Tool

WMSI is collaborating with Pershing LLC to integrate the small plan comparison tool into the NetX360 Retirement Resource Center investment platform used by registered investment advisers (RIAs) and other investment professionals servicing retirement plans. The new tool helps advisers evaluate key retirement plan metrics and choose an appropriate plan design to meet participant needs in the small business setting.

The firms say the tool should help advisers demonstrate value to small business owners at a time when demand for retirement plan access is growing in the market segment. The tool can also be used to help advisers and business owners maximize contributions towards personal retirement accounts while maintaining compliance with nondiscrimination testing and “top heavy” rules.

The small business plan benchmarking tool is the latest in a suite of eight retirement planning calculators Pershing has launched in conjunction with WMSI to help advisers address varying retirement planning needs. All tools are designed to illustrate personalized client projections in a professional, easy-to-read report format which can be used in support of client meetings.
