Verisight Hires Institutional Sales Executive

Ross Brown joined retirement plan services and consulting firm Verisight Inc. as a senior vice president of institutional sales.

In the role, Brown is tasked with managing and expanding relationships with banks, broker/dealers and asset management companies involved in the firm’s retirement services.

Brown most recently served as senior vice president of sales and relationship management at ExpertPlan, where he was responsible for retirement plan sales, strategic product development and acquisitions. Previously, he worked as implementation manager and senior retirement plan administrator for CitiStreet and Merrill Lynch, respectively.

Greg Tschider, CEO of Verisight, says the hire is another step towards creating a cohesive sales effort for Verisight and the recently acquired firm DailyAccess, which also specializes in retirement and benefit plan services for advisers, employers and employees (see “Verisight Inc. Acquires DailyAccess Corporation”).

Brown is based in Walnut Creek, California. He earned a B.A. and M.B.A. from Rutgers University and holds FINRA Securities Licenses 6, 26 and 63.
