Securian Names Director of Investment Resource Group

Jeffrey McGrath was promoted to director of the investment resource group at Securian Financial Services Inc., the Securian Financial Group broker/dealer.

In his new role, McGrath oversees a team of financial experts who provide portfolio management and consulting services related to investment due diligence. They also provide training and investment education for advisers in the Securian Financial Network.

McGrath joined Securian in 2004 as a senior investment consultant. Previously, he was a portfolio manager, trader and investment analyst at Accredited Investors. McGrath holds a bachelor’s degree from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. He was awarded the chartered financial analyst (CFA) designation in 2003.

Securian Financial Group and its affiliates provide financial services for individuals and businesses in the form of insurance, investments and retirement plans. Insurance products are issued by Minnesota Life Insurance Company in all states except New York, where products are issued by Securian Life Insurance Company, a New York authorized insurer. Both companies are headquartered in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
