USAA Appoints Rob Arena as Life Insurance President
Arena, who has more than 30 years’ experience in insurance and retirement management, will head the USAA Life Insurance Co., starting in early 2026.

Rob Arena will be the next president of USAA Life Insurance Co., effective January 5, 2026. Before his appointment by the United Services Automobile Association, Arena was most recently co-president at Global Atlantic Financial Group.
Arena’s more than 30 years of experience in life insurance, retirement solutions and asset management have included senior leadership roles at The Hartford and Prudential, where he oversaw retail product development, management and distribution.
“Rob brings extensive expertise and a values-driven approach,” said USAA CEO Juan C. Andrade in a statement. “His proven leadership in strengthening businesses, empowering teams and driving innovation to help families improve their financial security reflects the heart of our mission.”
Arena, the son of a retired U.S. Army captain, said in a statement, “I am honored to lead the USAA Life Company because our opportunity to help more military families achieve financial security has never been greater.”
USAA, headquartered in San Antonio, serves 14 million U.S. military personnel, veterans and family members.
