Tuesday, the Dow fell 131.40 points (0.48%) to 27,452.66, the NASDAQ dropped 32.28 points (0.29%) to 11,085.25, and the S&P 500 closed 16.13 points (0.48%) lower at 3,335.47. The Russell 2000 gained 29.82 points (2.02%) to finish at 1,504.73, and the Wilshire 5000 dropped 154.88 points (0.45%) to finish at 34,224.93. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was up 2/32, decreasing its yield at 0.645%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond gained 23/32, bringing its yield down to 1.413%.
