The Russell 2000 was up 13.71 points (0.87%) at 1,592.29, and the Wilshire 5000 climbed 463.89 points (1.28%) to 36,597.93.
The price of the 10-year Treasury note was up 3/32, decreasing its yield to 0.644%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 1 1/32, bringing its yield down to 1.376%.
