Friday, the Dow increased 33.18 points (0.10%) to 34,798.00, the Nasdaq was down 4.55 points (0.03%) at 15,047.70, and the S&P 500 closed 6.50 points (0.15%) higher at 4,455.48. The Russell 2000 decreased 10.97 points (0.49%) to 2,248.07, and the Wilshire 5000 was up 21.83 points (0.05%) at 46,361.17.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 2/32, increasing its yield to 1.454%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 31/32, bringing its yield up to 1.985%.

For the week ending September 24, the Dow climbed 0.62%, the Nasdaq was up 0.02%, and the S&P 500 gained 0.51%. The Russell 2000 finished 0.50% higher, and the Wilshire 5000 increased 0.47%.
