Wednesday, the Dow gained 338.48 points (1.00%) to finish at 34,258.32, the Nasdaq closed 150.45 points (1.02%) higher at 14,896.85, and the S&P 500 increased 41.45 points (0.95%) to 4,395.64. The Russell 2000 was up 32.38 points (1.48%) at 2,218.56, and the Wilshire 5000 climbed 443.27 points (0.98%) to 45,769.73.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note was up 1/32, decreasing its yield to 1.313%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 31/32, bringing its yield down to 1.820%.
