Tuesday, the Dow was up 140.48 points (0.52%) to reach 27,288.18, the NASDAQ climbed 184.84 points (1.71%) to 10.963.64, and the S&P 500 was up by 34.51 points (1.05%) to end at 3,315.57. The Russell 2000 gained 11.71 points (0.79%) for a 1,495.96 close, and the Wilshire 5000 rose by 350.40 points (1.04%) to 34,009.71. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was up slightly, 0/32, decreasing its yield to 0.672%, and the price of the 30-year Treasury bond was also up 0/32, decreasing its yield to 1.420%.
