Friday, the Dow decreased 166.44 points (0.48%) to 34,584.88, the Nasdaq lost 137.96 points (0.91%) to finish at 15,043.97, and the S&P 500 closed 40.76 points (0.91%) lower at 4,432.99. The Russell 2000 was up 3.96 points (0.18%) at 2,236.87, and the Wilshire 5000 fell 347.57 points (0.75%) to 46,143.70.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 25/32, bringing its yield up to 1.375%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond was down 6/32, increasing its yield to 1.909%.

For the week ending September 17, the Dow was down 0.07%, the Nasdaq lost 0.47%, and the S&P 500 fell 0.57%. The Russell 2000 increased 0.42%, and the Wilshire 5000 finished 0.43% lower.
