Friday, the Dow fell 288.87 points (0.83%) to close at 34,618.24, the Nasdaq fell 217.72 points (1.56%) to close at 13,708.34 and S&P 500 fell 54.78 points (1.22%) to close at 4,450.32. The Russell 2000 lost 19.60 points (1.05%) to close at 1,847.03, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index lost 533.04 points (1.17%) to close at 44,849.68.
The 10-year Treasury note decreased 3/32, bringing the yield to 4.333%. The 30-year bond decreased 5/32, bringing the yield to 4.417%. (will update)
For the week ending September 15, the Dow gained 0.12%, the Nasdaq lost 0.39% and the S&P 500 lost 0.16%. The Russell 2000 lost 0.24%, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index finished 0.20%.
