Tuesday, the Dow was down 1,276.37 points (3.94%) to close trading at 31,104.97, the Nasdaq fell 632.84 points (5.16%) to end at 11,633.574 and the S&P 500 fell 177.73 points (4.32%) to close at 3,932.68. The Russell 2000 lost 74.51 points (3.91%) to end at 1,831.58 and the Wilshire 5000 dropped 435.24 points (1.07%) to finish at 41,146.44.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 5/32 bringing the yield up to 3.418%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 4/32 bringing the yield down to 3.493%.
